Biology

I started as a biology major where I got involved in research and developed a strong foundation in scientific analysis and critical thinking. While I found the investigative aspect of biology fascinating, I gradually realized that my true passion lay in the intersection of creativity and analysis. This realization led me to transition into Business, Technology, and Entrepreneurship at NYU, where I now explore how innovation, business model, and technological advancement intersect. My background in research sharpened my ability to synthesize complex information, which I now apply in

Organization who aims to teach people about their skin and taking care of it through an online magazine / blog that teaches people about medical skin conditions, taking care of their skin, and products to look for for differing skin types. 

Applied machine learning and AI to help detect Pneumonia in X-ray scans. Created model using Neural Networks and Convolutional Neural Networks and trained it using GBB16, GBB19, and dense.net with 2,400 images, half of which were healthy lungs while the other half had pneumonia. 

Learned about formulation design and brand building through the UToledo cosmetic science program from brand leaders such as L'Oreal, Colgate, Estee Lauder. 

Two week dermatology shadow period learning about skin conditions and its treatments. Wrote a review paper on Staphylococcus epidermidis and it’s symbiotic relationship with the dermis published on the DOT website. 

Participated in a research study with Brooklyn Presbyterian by crocheting Octopuses for babies in order to stop them from grabbing onto feeding and oxygen tubes.
